While my love for indie games blossoms by the day, engulfing every inch of my mind worth engulfing, I must admit I pine for more multiplayer releases. I'm not sure yet if Magicka is what I pine, but it definitely appears to fit the category.

Winner of 'Game of the Year' at the Swedish Game Awards 2008 and coming sometime next year, the only downside is that it may only see the light of day on Xbox Live according to the press release.

Wow, now this has my interest peaked! It looks like classic Dungeons and Dragons games from Bioware except it seems to run very smoothly.

But since it seems to be making fun of itself it probably won't focus on story or dialogue, which might not be a bad thing.

Maybe they are not making fun of themselves, but telling the laughable truth.

Mmmmm self-aware humor, me likes.
Looks fun.

Hahah, yes! This is what RPGs need: gratuitous self parody! Brilliant, I'll keep an eye on this.
