A new trailer emerges for Brightside Games' Zeit², an IGF Student Finalist earlier this year. Everything is better with time travel. FACT.

This game needs a demo fast. FACT.

"Everything is better with time travel. FACT."

Everything except Lost.

Seems a bit pointless. Since Braid everyone is trying to add time travel to games and failing to make it part of the gameplay.

Petri Purho already did time-travel shooter about as well as it can be done with 'Choke on my Groundhog'.

The gameplay essentially becomes 'if you are not good at shooters, you can travel back and have another go'. It's fun but it doesn't really ADD much, just reduces the challenge.

Actually I did play the game as a prototype when it was at the GDC/IGF this year. The time travel is very well included in the gameplay. Its not just rewinding and doing it over. The game becomes very tactical through it. You do actually interact with what you did before. You cant undo what you did since everything you did is repeated by a copy of yourself. Its interesting to see some of the new ideas in this trailer. But its hard to understand this just by the trailer without actually playing it. It was the same for me.
