The Amanita Design team had posted up five tracks that were excluded from the official soundtrack for Machinarium, originally available to buy separately or as a free download if you purchase the full game. This new set of songs also include The Robot Band Tune, a short musical interlude played by the group of musically-inclined robots huddled just outside the bar. Get the EP here.

Awesome, the best news since the release of Machinarium! Gonna grab the songs right now, thanks Tim for the info.

pfff in first impression, the title looks like an machinarium additional episode....
but these sounds are very good:)

Still wish I could have the original soundtrack. I made the mistake of buying the game via steam and I've been regretting it ever since. It's kinda unfair that just because I bought it from a reliable medium I don't get the music.

You could send a mail to Amanita Design about the soundtrack, they might just oblige.

And I'm sure you know about this, but you can also find the same songs in a folder named '11' inside the Machinarium game directory (not sure about Steam though).

Just copy all thirty-seven files in the '11' folder somewhere else, then rename the extension of the files from '.000' or '.001' to .mp3. You can then use your default media player (e.g. Winamp or Windows Media Player) to play the MP3 files.

You CHOSE to buy from STEAM - presumably for the "benefit" of downloading your games wherever you wanted to - INSTEAD of buying directly from Amanita Design (the actual creators of this game). There's nothing "unfair" about your transaction. You bought exactly what you paid for.

Nice, I didn't even know that I was able to download the full soundtrack for free, because I preordered the game ^^
That's kinda cool!

AlexB: I was unaware that I was able to get the soundtrack by purchasing the game from Amanita. I simply bought it from Steam because I thought that it was the same game, just, you know, on Steam.

I understand that game developers would rather you buy their product directly from them so that they can receive the full retail value, I just wish that I had known to buy it from them.

Tim: Wow, that actually worked... I guess I'll retract my statements about not having the soundtrack.
