Browser Game Pick: Continuity (Ragtime Games)
Continuity is a puzzle platformer in which you have to arrange pieces of a level while playing to reach the key that will unlock the exit door. You can switch between sliding tiles and moving your character around at any time (by pressing the space key), although players won't be allowed to pass from one card to another if the corridors going out of each don't match.
There are roughly thirty levels to figure out in total.

Comments
The game constantly maxes out my cpu-usage, even in the mainmenu, and results in the entire browser freezing in a matter of one minute.
Firefox 3.5.5
Flash 10
WinXP SP3
2 GHz Intel Dualcore with 2 GB RAM

The game idea is good, but really max the cpu-usage, my firefox also hang on half of the game.

works flawless in chrome
Win 7rc 64bit

Running Vista64 here. Memory leaks in Firefox but it's fine in IE.

works fine for me in firefox on winXP. Pretty cool and innovative game, but not really my personal taste.

seems pretty cpu-intensive on my machine.
I think the colour distinctions are maybe a bit too subtle.

oh wait it's not about colours it's about matching corridors. hmm.

Really great concept.

Ya, it's not color based at all. To pass between boxes, the black walls have to match with the next box you wish to pass through (the other sides of the box don't matter).

Really cool and original!

Hehe, running smoothly here since the first time I tried it.
Gentoo Linux
Firefox 3.5.5
Flash 10
1.6 GHz Dual Core
1 GB RAM
One core at 10-15%
The other 0-3%
Maybe Windows is the problem?
Interesting concept. Nice, relaxing music.
I think the colors have _something_ to do with the gameplay.

Warning: this game does not cache your progress!

Oops, the colors are gone now.

Hey, I'm part of the team making the game.
We've been making some changes. Hopefully it should run more smoothly now.
@Dom Camus:
The game should be caching.
What OS/browser/Flash plugin are you using?
Do you have local storage enabled for Flash?
Sorry about the problems. We're trying to get them under control.

small update - tried it again after the changes, and the massive cpu usage and freezing is gone now on my system.

Ive had no CPU issues using fire fox. However, is it possible to modify the game so it doesn't always require a keyboard? I use a tablet PC, and sometimes the controlling is awkward.
