Tim picked it. I bigged it up. Then it got nominated for an IGF award. Finally Strange Loop Games have released a trailer of Vessel so you guys can see why we're all a flutter. Apparently they "intend to ship on both PC and console" which is definitely good news!

Gorgeous liquid physics...lovely graphics in general actually.. can't wait to play it!!

Looks fantastic, but I found it to be almost unplayable due to the character control. Maybe it was just because it was running slowly.

@Alex: I hope you're right because that looks bloody brilliant!

I had no idea what was going on in that video, because I hadn't read the previous posts. It was still pretty interesting, though.

Looks fabulous in many ways. I'm speechless.

Very impressive.

Nice to see an interesting graphic style being tried out! :D

Really like the music, too; any info on who's doing it?

Haha, just went to the proper YouTube page and thankfully the music is credited; it's by British electronic artist Jon Hopkins, apparently [...immediately goes to find more of his music]. :)

@Greg: I just finished conducting an interview with Strange Loop Games today. Here's what they have to say about the music:

The music in the trailer and in the game is on loan from Jon Hopkins, this amazing electronica/chill out artist. It fits our game perfectly and hopefully the game will ship with a complete soundtrack by him, but that's yet to be decided.

The interview will probably be on the site next week.

wow. thats all i have to say is wow. When is this game coming out???

Blown Away.
