Balloon in a Wasteland takes the tower defense wave attack and upgrade system and puts a nice little spin on it. Having crash landed in a terrible wasteland where evil beasts roam, your job is to fix your hot air balloon up whilst killing anything that comes your way.

The gameplay itself is pretty easy, yet there is lots to see. Firearms can be bought and upgraded, a tower can be built to hide in, an automatic turret erected to help deal with the pesky passers-by, traps laid to slow them down... and all while you're fixing that balloon up. There doesn't appear to be any time limit, so you're free to experiment regarding how you deal with the situation.

Wholesome fun for the whole family. Go play.

That was one of my fav browser games evar.

This is a lot of fun.

It ends so fast, though, if all you do is work on the balloon.

Another great pick for playing when i should be sleeping!
At least it's off the list now haha.

Yeah, it's like there wasn't enough incentive not to just work on the balloon constantly, and then you win so fast. I mean the stamana thing, yeah, but the monsters just go past you then. You don't feel the need to wake up and stop them from tearing down your balloon or your fort. You just miss a monster wave. No big. Since your shelter had a healthbar I assume it's at least possible that they could attack the fort. Maybe that was the idea and it just didn't happen in time, I don't know.

Agree with Joe Larson. There should have been some functionality where the balloon gets destroyed again or the shelter takes some damage.

I didn't actually realize about building the balloon until I had accumulated everything in the game, and I was wondering what was going on...

It seems that once you go past wave 30 the bottom bar starts glitching up and doesn't properly show what is coming ahead (i.e. mostly blank space).

Great little game. Since you can just run to the fort and ignore creatures, then work on balloon in between waves, it all seems kind of pointless in the end (monsters should attack the fort, right?) But it's a nicely executed, fun concept and I had a lot of fun anyway.
