Like Rotatspin before it, Duck and Hover made me cry. I think it was round about level 25, and that was only halfway through the game. There is fire to dodge, bouncing faces to weave around and Goomba-like stalkers to jump on. There's a princess at the end of it all, though, so it's totally worth it.

This is about persistence, timing and just a little bit of luck now and again. As you jump and hover around enemies, your deaths will rack up, but you'll carry on playing anyway because, let's face it, you can't let a simple Flash game beat you, right?

One word: originality.

This is so much better than VVVVVV! And so polished! At least worth $15!

I loved it! managed to get to level 20 before I decided to quit while I was ahead :P

Looks like crap, again. Good thing today has a few goodlooking games, or I'd start to think that indiegames are about looking like shit.

I wouldn't call this origionality, it's a masterclass in simple minimalist gaming though.

level 29 now...addictive, and I LIKE the graphic style personally.

lol at all the anonymous comments.

to the third anonymous, budding painters don't go looking to create the Sistine Chapel on their first day, and budding indie developers won't go and make World of Goo/Braid/favourite indie game here. Start small, pick something completeable, and as your skills grow, so to should your project.

And to the VVVVVV guy, most people who dislike a game just don't play it, and don't get so obsessive about it.

Overall, neat little time waster, somewhat twitch but it works for what it is.

It took me hundreds of lives but I did it!

Just beat it. Died well over 500 times. Some of the later levels are practically impossible and require you to come within a pixel of instant death multiple times while also rushing you. This game is evil.

Awesome. The music is pretty rad, too :P

I Like almost all of what I played, but the furball-bowling levels make me hate everything too much to continue playing.

Finally finished it. Very fun and satisfying.

Pretty good. Sometimes it seems overwhelming, but usually it's not as bad as it looks.

What's the hell with level 25??? "Now try without fuel"
I died too many times to keep searching for the answer. Please help me dudes

Level 25 has fucked me as well...how do u solve it

I need help with level thirty. Anyone?

I JUST FINISHED IT!
Hardcore Plateformer For The WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!

Found the solution for level 25
thanx to everyone who tried to help. dammit

When you take a "boxed plus" it don't actually pump you up - it actually gives you an another free jump to use - so you must take "the plus" on a dive towards the wall and when you're right below it - press jump.

Got to the end now.

Found it in a full walkthrough here http://www.dopiephilippines.com/2010/02/duck-and-hover-walkthrough.html
