One Button Bob is a single-button action game in which you have to help Bob survive an obstacle course to reach the treasure he desires. The control scheme is switched around in every room, meaning that you could be running away from a boulder, climbing a set of ladders or jumping from one platform to another as you venture further into the cave.

It takes about ten or fifteen minutes to finish the entire adventure, and there isn't really any incentive to replay it after you've completed your quest.

Overall pretty entertaining, but the hit detection on the sections where you have to leap onto tiny platforms was awful, awful, awful. Many times I clearly landed on the platform and yet died because you have to be almost at the center for it to count.

161 clicks!

I found the hit detection most frustrating at the boss battle.

675. Im so bad. But more fun than VVVVVV!

I think this One-Button-Gaming stuff is a great exercise, but the vast majority of it produces some fairly dry games. While One Button Bob is cute, I can't say it was terribly entertaining. Worth a look, but it gets old even before it's brief length draws to a close.

Yeah, ditto on the ridiculous charging-jumping levels; if you're going to use a control system this loose and fast, you can't be picky with the hit detection.

It managed to hold the attention of the completist in me toward the end, but definitely a forgettable experience. Also the music was irritating as hell.

The standout moment was the boss, with that moving-forward-doubling-back thing. The rest of the vignettes were gimmicky in their use of one button.

I quite liked it!
Nice idea and clean execution. A bit frustrating at times but I went through it in one go. Perfect length.

The ending made me laugh.

Entertaining little game with adorable graphics.

Some parts were a little rough around the edges (the hero sprite not falling into the lava when you miss a jump, 'teleporting' up and down the stairs), but overall I really enjoyed it.

A fantastic game design. I didn't go all the way through the final boss but.. does someone understand that all of this is done only with ONE BUTTON?? It's crazy.
