Finally your dreams have come true - it's Canabalt... with robot unicorns!

OK, so technically Robot Unicorn Attack is a 2-button game, but the whole experience is just as beautifully polished as the Balt. The unicorn can double jump, and also rush then jump to allow for making big gaps. Score goes up as you run, and extra points are obtained for collecting fairies and smashing stars.

It looks lovely, it has an awesome name, and that music... Fantastic stuff. Give it a play over at Adult Swim.

Wow robot rainboy unicorn awesome! I think Canabalt is still way cooler, but I actually enjoyed the gameplay on this one better.

This is the greatest single achievement of mankind.

As awesome as this game is, it still has a game-breaking flaw as observed by the third wish score. That was achieved by jumping off a higher platform, holding Z until the peak of the jump, and then dashing, jumping, holding Z to make the jump last as long as possible, dashing again when possible, and repeating. I kept on doing that until I got bored, and then my unicorn fell off camera for about 2 seconds until it finally caught up with the robotic beast. Awesome, high score tables that aren't hacked are now broken.

Never mind about the higher platform part: it can be done from the starting one. Your unicorn actually gains height with each jump.

Aww, and I thought my earnest 104,318 was good.

How is an Adult Swim game indie? (unless it's developed by Pixel Jam, of course)

That was so epic beyond my wildest belief.

Am I the only one who immediately associated this with the stereotypical gay scene?

they fixed the game-breaking flaw by adding large obstacles in the air. it's no longer easy to play forever with just jump and dash.

First time a game has brought me to tears since Final Fantasy 7. Oh god, it's so beautiful! And then the dolphins?? I was bawling!

ALWAYS I WANT TO BE WITH YOU
AND MAKE BELIEVE WITH YOU
