Uchuusen (Spaceship) is an arcade game that puts you in control of a ship with two rockets attached to each side, and by selectively activating the thrusters you can navigate around tight corridors and obstacles in this twenty-level challenge. Fire both thrusters and the ship will float upwards, and collect the shiny yellow objects to unlock the portal to the next area.

It takes roughly fifteen minutes to half an hour to beat all of the stages included, and at the end of the game you will be presented with a results screen charting the total time and retries attempted. (Windows, 5.42MB)

this game is so awesome visually. love that art style. I dont know what it's called. Pixel Art? It's fantastic. and the little details like the spinning lights on the saucer are so cute. little touches of awesome sauce everywhere. very addictive and easy to learn. sounds are lovely. (you can tell I love it) 8 bit super awesome sauce

Quite the gem with very nicely balanced, rather original gameplay mechanics, good and varied level design, sweet overall polish and just about the right length.

If you liked this, certainly give meshoff's Flywrench a try.

Awesome!

Good to see that Nimmo's still making stuff; I loved Mini Falafel Adventure.

Thanks Tim, for mentioning my game here. It's very encouraging to hear that people enjoyed playing it!

I made this game as an entry for a competition, in which the main limitation was a maximum of 20 conditional statements (for example, ["Sprite1" overlaps "Sprite2"]). I would have liked to do more, but was limited by the rules.

Thanks very much for the comments. I really appreciate your time and I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

awesome!

looks like kirby meets air fortress(nes)
