The forty-second trailer released late last year showed little of Capybara's upcoming iPhone release Sword & Sworcery, but now we have two new clips that demonstrate gameplay elements from the IGF Mobile Achievement in Art award winner. The gorgeous pixel art is supplied by Craig "Superbrothers" Adam, while the music is composed by singer-songwriter Jim Guthrie.

A video showcasing the Punch Out-style combat in the game can be found in the extended. (source: GameSetWatch)

My god that is insanely pretty

want PC version :(

wowowowowow!

When can I buy it?

Oh Capy -- you always continue to impress me. Go Toronto talent! :D

OMG - this is my personal dream, a new version of Moonstone! HELL YEAH!

Can't wait. Looks amazingly beautiful and unique.

:E
so tasty. the dear and rabbits fading into the brush is such an incredible bit of ambiance

Loved both videos. I'm looking forward this game, but I need the iphone first.

P.S. Am I the only person who heard a talk/gmail message sound at 03:24? haha

A strange graphic style, but cool anyway, I like it. Nice game.

Carry on!

Looks awesome. The positional sound was kind of weird how it switched so suddenly from right speaker to left speaker. Also, with that bear dude, is his wang hanging down, or is that something else? o_O

I don't see why you have a problem with that, the nudity isn't sexual in anyway, it's just natural... you expect a bear to be clothed with that thick fur?

anyways, beautiful, I will buy an iPhone just for this game if you don't port it to PC.

Looks gorgeous. I hope a PC version comes out.

But even if it does, I won't get it because the protagonist has neither spiky orange hair nor a flowing red cape.

@robolee Don't think I ever said I had a problem with it. Just wondering if anyone else noticed it.

Argggh I wish I had an iphone. So amazing.

sound effects from n64 zelda? sounds good to me.

I'd pay good money for the chance to play this, but enough for for an iPhone. Hopefully a PC version is in the works.

Graphics are super great, but it looks kinda boring play-wise.

I was so much inspired by their videos - http://vimeo.com/user721935 and now they are making a game!!!, I will need an iphone now :) I would like to knwo what do you use to do pixel art games on iphone...

Agreed with Marcus, though I figure the gameplay picks up.

And I was going to correct "Punch Out-style" to "Quest for Glory-style" but then I realized Quest for Glory-style IS Punch Out-style? Whoa. Never thought of it like that before.

And I thought Spider deserved their win. It should have went to this game.

whoa... I remember that trailer from a while back, and this just makes me want this even harder. I will even buy the 3.0 upgrade to get this game if I have to.

So charming. Though I wonder what the game is about after the bear fight.

What did the bear even do to him?

Wow, that's gorgeous. Loved all the small details in the forest, and despite the low res style, the sprites are very expressive. The character style is interesting too and looks different to most other games I've seen using purposefully pixellated art; less retro/nostaligic perhaps and more intentional, if that makes sense?

Any chances of this being released in some other form, too? Because I want this so bad it hurts, but even if I had that kind of money, I'm not going to buy an iPhone just to be able to play a game...

Seriously, the art in this nearly made me *cry* with desire to explore the game's world...
