There is a plethora of indie gaming goodness heading our way soon, with a couple of pre-order offers too. Feast your eyes, my friends...

The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom

P.B. Winterbottom is after one thing, and one thing alone - pie. He wants it so much, in fact, that he's willing to clone himself, travel through time, then co-operate with his past and future selves in order to get it. With over 80 unique and wacky puzzles, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is available to pre-order now via Steam for £3.99, and will be released on 20th April.

Frozen Synapse

Mode 7's tactical take-down game will be available for pre-order on April 19th, with all those who put their monies down on the table receiving immediate access to the beta build, and getting two copies for the price of one. Hence if you know someone else who is planning on getting it too, this offer may well interest you. Check out the above tutorial video for how it all works.

Sleep is Death

Jason Rohrer's Sleep is Death has already been available for those who pre-ordered it since Friday, but for everyone else the go date is April 16th. It will cost you 14 of your American dollars and you will experience fun and other good things - as long as you have a good story-telling friend. The above video is one of several tutorial videos created by Jason to showcase the ins and outs of the game. Read our preview to find out why you probably should grab it.

Comments

Hadn't seen frozen synapse before, it looks pretty cool. Depending on the price I may have to purchase myself (and a friend) a copy.

Winterbottom seems absolutely nothing like The Company Of Myself, so I don't see why you all are slamming it for being a total ripoff with better graphics. TOTALLY UNFAIR. IT'S... COMPLETELY DIFFERENT IN ANY WAY.

He obviously has played Rainbow Six the first games had a excellent mode which does just that, and was probably some of the things worth talking about.

Im glad he have been thinking about making a game based on that tactical element alone seems very cool :)

Good news :) The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom looks very good, though I'm a bit surprised not to have heard much about it since the original release, even though it was only on XBLA. It also seems to be pretty cheap, considering how polished and "complete" it seems to be, even being compared to the likes of Braid. Buying that might just be a no-brainer.

Frozen Synapse is also looking very promising. I hope there is going to be a demo, but if there's going to be online multiplayer, the pre-order bonus is also highly tempting.
By the way, I recommend signing up to their mailing list, for which you get 4 nice music tracks. If the whole soundtrack is going to be like that, I'm certainly even more interested :)

I originally thought the pie had a small, sad, fairy stuck in it, and that's why it was flying, but it was just a face in the crust. I liked it better when I thought it was a fairy.
